It has been 45 days since the school girls were abducted by Islamist militant sect Boko Haram, in the Chibok area of Borno, and the nation keeps asking and pressing for the government to help #BringBackOurGirls.
Today – Democracy Day, a few Nollywood stars including Patience Ozokwor, Chinedu “Aki” Ikedieze, Mercy Aigbe, Thelma O’khaz, Ejiro Okurame and Femi Ogedengbe, marched from Allen Avenue to Alausa Secretariat soliciting for the release of the girls.
They revealed that the march was their own way of celebrating the Democracy, because they are unhappy.
Adeyemi Ikuforiji, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly addressed the actors.
He assured that the government is doing its best.
